What happens when you get 5 giggly girls together, add some Silvergreens, a blanket, a camera and a little bit of sunshine? I'll tell you what you get, a good time. Finals week starts tomorrow and considering I have a final every single day this week, I am calling this my last post until at least Thursday.

2 things...

1. Graduation is on Saturday and two of my best friends (and roommates) are graduating along with many of my other friends. I am so So SO proud of all of them, but most especially thankful to Kim and Kelly. Love you girls so much. Also, Esther is leaving... so enjoy one of the last posts she will be on for a long time :(

2. My aunt and uncle are currently in Ethiopia finalizing everything with their new son.. aka my new cousin and I cannot WAIT to meet him. I honestly could not be more excited about meeting my new 5-year old cousin, Kirubel.

Anywhosicals the musicals... enjoy the picnic/makeshift photo shoot.

Goodbye M'loves!

As sad as I am that I have been absent from 'Every Last Detail,' I have had one of the GREATEST weeks! I was super busy with homework, but I think because Esther is leaving (along with a lot of me going abroad and not seeing people for 9 or so months to a year), I am just living it up here at Westmont.

We had a bonfire last night in honor of Esther and Kelby leaving Westmont. I had some great conversations, ate some yummy chocolate and graham crackers (I don't like s'mores and I am not afraid to admit it... okay, I am a little afraid, hence why this proclamation is in parentheses) and really celebrated the upcoming chapter in both of their lives.  I love you Esther and Kelby. So much. And I am really going to miss you guys.

A little spur the moment addition to my summer plans... I AM GOING TO HAITI!!!
I know, crazy, right? My mom called me up two days ago and asked if I wanted to join her on her 4th (5th?) trip! I had about 24 hours to decide and there is no doubt in my mind, I want to go. I cannot wait to experience this with my Mama. Can't wait to see what growth the Lord has in store for us through this trip :)

Anywho, enjoy these pictures of the bonfire!
Kat?

Workin' at the Carwash (woah-oo-woah-oo-woah-oo-oo)

What is more fun than baked goods, dirty cars and friends. After yesterday, I would argue that nothing is better than those three things combined.

You see, I have this friend Nate (pictured below...)
Nate is like my twin brother. We look quite a bit alike, we are both very goofy, and we both love baja blast (there are more reasons why we are like brother and sister, but that's good enough for now).

Well, Nate was short on tuition so he decided to have a carwash/bake sale in order to raise the money he needed. With a little love an support from some friends, he was able to reach the goal amount he needed which means... Nate is coming back to Westmont next year!!! Hip hip, HOORAY!

Could not have though of a better way to spend my Sunday than washing cars, dancing in the street (and on the corner), getting introduced outside of VONS to the proclaimed "Renaissance Man" of this century for art and athletics, and helping my brother come back to Westmont. Needless to say, I love ya bud and I am so happy for you and proud of you.

Here are some fun pics of the day!

2 Weeks Left and a Little Unsure

This blog post is 99.3% per request of Madeline.

Dear Madeline,
I am sorry that I have been too busy to be posting things on my blog. I hope this serves as a satisfactory distraction from your homework.
Love,
Hannah
I ripped my favorite pants on the planet earth.
It was completely from being old
I didn't trip.
I didn't fall.
I just bent down and they ripped.
Pants: Lucky Brand (no longer available in black, but this is a dark blue!),
Shoes: Nordstrom, Shirt: Forever21, Sweater: Nordstrom, Necklace: Forever21
I have 2 WEEKS LEFT of school. That's SUPER exciting, but at the same time, it is bringing a lot of wonderful things to a close.
1. Both of my roommates are graduating. That is probably one of the saddest things I could ever think of happening. I am going to miss our late night pillow talks, our laugh attacks, our love for One Tree Hill, New Girl, and as much as I hate to admit it, The Bachelor, and our obsession with anything sweet (lemon bars, cookie dough, candy, ice cream, etc). But more than anything, I am going to miss the excitement we all get when we walk in the room to see one another that has NEVER died down. I love how much we all truly enjoy one another and can always find something to laugh about. Both Kelly and Kim have blessed me more, not only this past semester, but throughout my entire time here at Westmont than I could ever imagine. I am INCREDIBLY thankful for them and could never fully express that to them.
2. This begins the large amount of time that I will not be seeing people. I have a 3 1/2 month long summer and then a 4 month long excursion throughout Europe. 7 or so months would not be that bad if my sweet Whitney was not abroad this past semester or some of my dear friends weren't going abroad next spring (which makes it a year that I won't be seeing some people)
3. Those are just two I can think of, but there are many more. I promise

BUT there are also some GREAT things that come along with the end of this year.
1. I get to be in my home SO soon with my mama, my kitchen and free time to do crafts and cook all day long.
2. I will be working a lot (Nannying for my dear Luke and hopefully others) so I will hopefully be making a lot of money to spend in Europe!!!
3. I AM GETTING CLOSER TO EUROPE

So am I a little scared for the end of this semester... a little, absolutely. But you know what, if I've learned anything in my life I've learned that God's got this. I have nothing to worry about. As long as I keep my focus on Him and I am dedicated to glorifying Him in all that I do, I think it's going to be okay. Even though the uncertainty is scary, I am willing to be a little scared in order to do great things for Him.

A LITTLE SIDE NOTE:
Like I mentioned, I am nannying (or would like to) this summer in San Diego. So if you are someone who needs a nanny or KNOW someone who needs a nanny please let me know!!! I have lots of experience with working with kids and would love to send my resume out to anyone who is interested!

Dancing in the Moonlight.

School dances. They are so fun :) Especially Westmont dances. There is something about them where nobody has any inhibitions and just lets go and dances their BRAINS out!!! I love these girls and had such a good time gettin funky on the dance floor with them!

Enjoy the pictures, sorry for the absence recently, and in 3 weeks I will be home from school. Which means I will be back in action on this here blog a lot more. Summer is bringing about a lot of new things. I am excited for this new adventure, but I am going to miss a lot of people when this year comes to a close.

I am so blessed. I realize that more and more every day.
Oh.. I wonder how Esther and I end up in the middle? Hehe
HAHA these pictures crack me up!
We like taking pictures with each other... can you tell?
I love my baby girl.
